Web Page Gets a Facelift

Welcome to the premier issue of the DragonShadow Insider! This set of web pages will highlight the goings-on here at DragonShadow Industries&trade (DSI). Currently there are two of us which are working under the DSI moniker. There is Scott Cartier who does the coding and David Dewitt who will lend his artistic capabilities to the projects.

If you've been here in the past you'll notice the radical change in organization. We hope this new format will let you move around easier to find the information which interests you. Each issue will feature new information concerning the projects we're working on at DSI. We'll post pictures, code, and maybe a download or two.

Let me take a moment to apologize for the profuse use of frames. It seems Netscape has trouble formatting margins correctly. Since I want to combat the Microsoft monopoly I needed to make it Netscape-friendly.

The articles are divided into several sections. In "Spotlight" we'll give you a heads up on what we're most jazzed about at the time. "Projects" will give status updates on our games & utilities. The "Tech" section will go over actual code examples and give details on the various techniques we employ. And of course there's the "Advertisements" to give you links to some of our favorite places on the web (those sites are not actually sponsoring this page - we just called it "Advertisements" to keep it in the spirit of the rest of this site).

We are sorry to say that due to the more involved format, we won't update this site as often as before. Once we can pull together enough content we'll publish a new issue. While we can't predict how often this will happen, it should not be longer than once every few weeks.

So take a moment to browse around. If you have any suggestions which would make this page better please send us a note. We'd like to hear from you.
